SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed regarding the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme sassa status check [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie sassa status and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The company stage produced for intervention experiences a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
